friends No Title Today, Sorry.  I probably won't get much more work done on my book like I wanted to. #1, for some reason I'm tired of writing, even though I have some ideas. #2, this lady at my church is going to bring some of her books for me to read. I'm ready to read. Hopefully I can still get some writing done, but probably not as much as I would if I had nothing to read (like now). So I've been talking to Kasey about wanting a new layout. I am thinking about having her make one for me. In my search for layouts, I found one that I really like: Please tell me what you think about it! I want your opinions on the layout you're going to be seeing every time you visit TBH! And as I searched for layouts today (I didn't really find anything) I made up a list of things I want/don't want. I just sent it to Kasey. So even though I'm not ready for a new layout yet, I'm kind of getting excited about finding a new one. Yesterday Mom and I went swimming with Aunt Jodie and Jessie. Uncle Bruce was there, too, and the lady from church mentioned above came, too; she brought her nephew. I had fun, more than when Mom isn't there (this was the first time Mom was able to go with us). Mom got a little burned, and so did I, but nothing bad. It barely hurts. It looks nice. So today I'm wearing a tank top to kind of show it off. For church I'm going to put a button-up-the-front shirt over it like a jacket, just to be more modest, and also for added warmth (it's kept really cold at church). Today I wrote two letters, then took a leisurely walk to mail them. When I got home I practiced my piano ... kind of. It wasn't going well at all, so I stopped in the middle of it; I'll need to do it again later today, and hopefully it will go better. Then it was time for lunch. I made myself some popcorn, and watched Finding Nemo -- with a twist. I changed the language to French with English subtitles. It was definitely different. (Yeah, I know I'm weird.) After that was over, I came up here to the computer, checked my mail, and then started surfing the net for layouts. I gave myself a slight headache with that, so I stopped and began writing this entry. And the rest is history. You know, I think I want to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp when it comes out. I'm beginning to become addicted to Johnny Depp movies (I watched Edward Scissorhands last week while watching Sydney, it was OK, really sad, though). It's amazing how in every movie I've seen with him in it, he's totally different. Great actor. My Last 5 Updates |
