Marc:
En francais? C'est tres, tres difficile. (I don't even remember if "difficile" is the correct word!) J'ai aime te parler aussi. (I hate how I can't put the accent marks in with my keyboard...) Qu'est-ce que tu as fait cette semaine? Est-ce que tu aimes ton travaille? Dites-moi ton couleur favori. Moi, mon couleur favori est bleu! D'accord, je ne peux plus dire en francais! If you tell me what to say in French, I might be able to, but it's very hard to just think of things to say. Did you know that you didn't have to get a Diaryland journal just to talk to me? If you click on the "book" link under the "contact" section, you can sign my guestbook without having to be a member of anything. (Or you could click here if you want.) Tu comprends? Je remercie pour les complements. (I probably didn't say that right.) I hope to hear from you again soon.
Kasey's Questions:
1.) How are you planning on getting to college every day next year? Are you gonna get to take the car?
Actually, the plan is for me to have my VERY OWN car by that time! (Isn't that exciting??) I think Mom actually wants for me to have one by the beginning of this summer, so that I can get a job and be able to provide my own transportation. But if not at the beginning of summer, I'll definitely have my own car by the time college starts.
2.) What are you looking forward to most about senior trip?
Ummm...this will sound horrible, but I'm not really looking forward to anything. But I just KNOW that you'll say that's not a good answer, that I should supply you with a REAL answer, so hold on and let me think...... I guess the dinner theater we're going to. What's it called? Dixie Stampede?
3.) What are you least looking forward to?
Well, I kind of answered that in the previous question...
I'm not really looking forward to anything.
4.) You get to change your name... what do you name yourself?
Oooo, I like this question! Hm, but in a way it's hard. Can I just tell you the names I like? ...OK, here are some girl names I really like. Joy. Rose. AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHH. My mind just went blank! It's like you were talking about in Worldview the other day, when we had to make up that list of qualities...you've got the big old list, but as soon as someone asks you to list them, you can't remember any of them. That's so annoying. So, let's move on to the next (and final) question.
5.) Do you ever get afraid of the dark?
Yes. Not so much around the house anymore (but I used to be terrible about it, when I was a lot younger), but when I'm at my church at night... Ugh, it's horrible. I don't know what it is about my church, but whenever I'm there at night - like when my mom is working on something there - and it's all dark...I practically freak out if I have to leave the area where my mom is.Unconscious Mutterings:
- Right time:: He was in the right place at the right time.
- Funeral:: I attended a funeral last Sunday...I talked about it in the previous entry.
- Calculate:: It took him a minute to calculate how many days are in 456 years.
- Believe me:: Believe me, I know what I'm talking about.
- Chat:: She crossed the yard to have a little chat with her neighbor. Or for the computer, She entered the chat room prepared to have a long conversation with a total stranger.
- Anniversary:: Edgar Linton didn't celebrate his daughter's birthday, because it was the anniversary of his wife's death. (Talking about Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.)
- Let you down:: I'm sorry I let you down.
- Shout:: "You know you make me wanna shout!"
- Sweatsock:: What on earth is a sweatsock? I've never heard of that before.
- Prayer:: "Whisper a prayer in the morning, whisper a prayer at noon, whisper a prayer in the evening, to keep your heart in tune."
Monday Mom and I did go shopping. I didn't do any homework, except finish reading Wuthering Heights for English. This weekend I'm going to have to work on my term paper a lot. Blah. Our first rough draft is due a week from today. Thankfully, it's not the rough draft for the entire paper, but just for the first section. (The paper is comprised of three sections.) This coming Sunday is the choir's first official performance. We actually have two performances, one morning and one evening.
I have to go, I need to go fix my supper. Take care.
