"Darwin & Evolution" Feeling: Nov. 28, 2006, 4:53 pm
Evolution...Redfined by Geoff Moore Darwin first did the imminent service of arousing attention to the probability of all change in organic, as well as in the inorganic world, being the result of law, and not of miraculous interposition. For all life is a continuum. All living things despite their awesome diversity are related to each other. And evolution is the term we give to that process, by which the structure of plants and animals changes with the passage of time thus accounting for the continnuum.
I was staring through the blackboard trying to keep from sleeping, doing my very best to hear the subject they were teaching. When to my surprise, I couldn't my believe my ears, this is what you looked like back a million years. Your uncle was a monkey, he was swinging through the trees, he lived on green bannanas, and his arms swung to his knees. He spoke with such conviction, it really made me think, Maybe my teacher, He's the missing link! He said...
I believe in evolution, ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies. It's the only possible solution, Big Bang fiction, that we factualize.
Therefore Crow Magnum Man!
It takes a lot of faith to say we're accidents of nature, but I believe we are the work of a loving Creator. Now you can wait a million years and hope that nature does it's part, but it only takes a moment, for God to change a heart. That's why...
I believe in evolution, changing of the heart, renewing of the mind. It's the only true solution, God is always working, changing lives (changing lives), It's evolution redefined.
I used to trust in natural selection, my survival was all I could see. My evolving to perfection, Started when God rescued me.
I believe in evolution, changing of the heart, renewing of the mind. It's the only true solution, God is always working, changing lives. I believe in evolution, changing of the heart, renewing of the mind. It's the only true solution, It's evolution redefined. I believe in evolution, changing of the heart, renewing of the mind. It's the only true solution, God is always working, changing lives.
I believe believe in evolution, changing of the heart, renewing of the mind, It's the only true solution, It's evolution redefined. I'm in Biology. The chapter we're covering today is called "Darwin and Evolution." These people are so amazingly stupid! They must be so blind to believe all this junk. In part of the lecture, he (the professor) began talking about how "some people" believed that the earth was only 6 thousand years old, and how wrong that is. This whole evolution stuff is so stupid, so illogical. Like the thoery of how giraffes got their long necks. This guy named Lamarck said that, originally, all giraffes had short necks, so they stretched to reach the food at the tops of the trees. He said that by this continual stretching, most giraffes now have long necks. Yeah right! Who actually believes that someone (or something) can become taller just by stretching? If that's true, then why am I still so short? I've been stretching to reach things for most of my life, and I haven't grown even a centimeter! Darwin's proposal concerning giraffes is similar to Lamarck's, only it involves struggle to exist and natural selection. Why can't people just accept that God created each animal to be unique? Yes, I understand the concept of breeding within a species, which is termed microevolution, but evolution across species - macroevolution - is just absurd! The idea that an animal adapted and changed to fit its environment is equally absurd. It just doesn't happen! Face it, people, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." He created all the animals - each different species, unique in its own way - and brought them to Adam to name. Which also means that God created Adam, because in order for Adam to name the animals, he could not have evolved from animals! There are similarities between species because God used the same building blocks to create the animals - man, however, He created in His own image. "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27). The same building blocks, arranged in infinitely different ways to produce variation and variety. I wonder how many of my classmates actually believe this. How many eyes are blinded to the Truth? Probably more than I would think. People reject God; therefore, they reject the fact that He created. So they have to find some way to explain why we're here, and how we got here. You would think that they could come up with something more logical than evolution, though. However, to them, I'm sure evolution makes sense. Why else would they believe it? I pity them, really, all those people who are blinded to the Truth. They have rejected God; they have concocted their own theories as to how life came about, and they've made that their truth. One day, they will find out how terribly wrong they are. One day they will stand before God. They will have to answer for their beliefs, and the actions that followed those beliefs. Yes, I pity them, because they will find out how wrong they were, but it will be too late. They won't be able to change their beliefs; they won't be able to explain away their beliefs as if they didn't matter. There are things we can do. We can pray. We can pray that the people who believe these things will realize their mistakes before it's too late. We can pray that God will open their eyes to the Truth, and that they will accept that Truth. I feel that this is the most important thing we can do; however, we can also be well-informed, so that we can show these people how they are wrong. We must be gentle in our approach, though. As it is written, we must "speak the truth in love." Well, class is almost over, so I guess I'll stop ranting. I pretty much missed the entire lecture, sitting here writing. I don't really care, though. I don't believe a word of it, anyway. Lord, open their eyes to Your Truth. Help us to show them how they are wrong. Give us wisdom in counteracting the lies of evolution. Work in their hearts; create dissatisfaction in them. Make them search for Truth, real truth. And when they are ready for answers, give us the words to say to lead them to that Truth. I ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen.
