"Hi Everybody!"
Feeling:

Hi everybody! (Wow, that just reminded me of a guy in my class; he has, like, a ton of phrases that he repeats over and over, and that's one of them. And I can just hear him saying it in that silly voice of his, too!)
Let's see, I guess I should tell you about that party that I did not want to go to. (hehe) It really wasn't all that bad. When I first got there I felt a little out of place, but then Kasey called me over to where she was playing volleyball with a bunch of other kids from my class (I'm not going to name them, because I don't want to forget anyone with my silly brain). It was extremely hot, though, so soon after I came they decided to stop and go in. So we sat in the living room and just kind of chatted. Caleb had brought the game "Catchphrase" with him, so eventually we started a game of that. That was fun. We didn't really play teams or keep points; anyone and everyone blurted out the answers. I think that was as much fun as playing it "right" would have been. We played that until the food was ready (mabye 5 or 10 minutes?); I didn't eat, because I wasn't hungry. Mom and I left while everyone else was eating, because Mom wanted to get home in time to go running with Dad. So I don't know why I was so scared/stubborn about going. I think I was just overreacting. Still, even though Mom says I did great, I don't want to do it agan any time soon. I'd rather just stay in my shell, thank you very much. It was good seeing everybody from school (and that's all I'm saying about school, thanks very much!).
Saturday we kept Jessie for a while. That was fun. She's so adorable.
Yesterday was just a normal Sunday; really nothing to report there.
I've been writing in my book some more. Summer is always a good time for me to write, because I'm not as busy as I am during the school year. (It takes a lot of time to get some significant writing done.) And it helps that I don't have anything to read right now. I don't like to write when I'm currently reading something, because I don't want to start sounding like the author I'm reading (which happens easily, believe it or not). So hopefully I can get a lot of progress made on that project this summer.
So far, no babysitting jobs for this week. I haven't heard from Vanessa since before they left to visit her family. Since I babysat Sydney last Wednesday, it will probably be a couple weeks before I watch her again (Jen has a cycle among the family and we take turns watching the baby).
I guess that's all. I think I'm going to go look at some layouts. ...No, I'm not changing my layout yet, don't worry. I just want to get a list started, so maybe I won't take as long picking one when I am ready for a new one. If any of you know of something you think I might like, please let me know. Thanks!
