friends Quoting Moi I was reading through some of my older entries, and I came across this: Friday night Dad and I sat down to watch Pirates of the Caribbean, but before it had been on for 5 minutes Dad was asleep. He slept through the entire thing. That was the 2nd time for me to see it, but that didn't stop me...I watched the entire thing. So Mom and I have been giving Dad a hard time on that. Anyway, today we sat down again to watch it. This time Dad stayed awake through the entire movie. (Don't worry, I did, too.) I've seen it 3 times now, and each time I discover something new about it. I must admit, even though I probably don't want to, that Orlando Bloom is a cutie. (Don't worry, Kasey, I won't try to steal him from you... He's all yours!) With that said, I still am not too crazy about POTC. It's a good movie and all, and they did a great job on it, it's just that I'm not big on pirate movies, I guess. I mean, I'm a girl, and 90% of the movie is swordfighting or cannons/guns blowing things up...would you expect me to be head-over-heels for it? Right. I didn't think so. Anyway, that's my opinion. I thought that was really funny, because now I LOVE PotC!! To quote myself, I am now "head-over-heels for it." LOL. *goes back to reading old entries* Here's another good (but random) quote from me: With everything so whirlwindy (?? lol) it's hard to keep up with everything. Wow, I just made myself really bored by going through some of those entries. Crazy. Phil is listening to the President on TV. I didn't know he was going to be on today; it sounds like a press conference. Wonder where he is? I'm asking a guy from my church that's on AIM right now... He doesn't know. Guess I'll ask Phil whenever I go downstairs. My great uncle gave me a ring that belonged to his late wife. She's been dead almost 4 years. It's beautiful! It's value is great both in sentimental ways and $ ways. Yeah, that made no sense. I think I'm done rambling. Yeah, you're right, this entry had no purpose at all. Bye. My Last 5 Updates |
