friends Summer's Here Well, Summer is finally here...my summer course wrapped up at the beginning of last week. The class actually wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. Of course, getting up to go to an 8:30 class when I could have been sleeping in was hard. But other than that, the class itself wasn't that bad. The lectures didn't exactly get me on the edge of my seat, but fortunately the professor posted her lecture notes online for the class; we were able to print them out and bring them to class with us each day. That way we didn't have to worry about taking notes, but could follow along in the notes she was using and add things that we thought we would need to know. It really took a lot of the stress out of the class. There were only a few assignments, the biggest of which was our final paper (instead of a test, we had to write a paper, which really wasn't that bad). I did mine on Anne Frank, which was very enlightening. Needless to say, though, I'm very glad the class is over. Fall semester starts the last week of August, which gives me about two months off...except, of course, it won't really be "off" since I'll be working. I just got my summer work schedule finalized this morning. I'll be working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 8-5. On Wednesdays, I'll be helping Mom babysit. I am hoping to be able to hang out with friends and such; I'm sure I'll be able to fit that in somewhere. :-P Mom, Dad, and I plan to return to the beach for vacation in mid-July, to the same spot we vacationed last year. I'm really looking forward to that. Other than that, the only other "big" plan I have for my time off is to get a wisdom tooth extracted the first of August. Hope you're all doing well.
