My Week + Voice of Truth
Feeling: The current mood of tobehis at www.imood.com

Here I am again. And let me tell you, I am doing a lot better than I was in my last entry. I've still kind of been down-in-the-dumps, and still am extremely tired, but it hasn't been anything as bad as Monday was, Thank God. And thanks for your prayers.

The only thing I can say is, I'll pray for you.

Man, the radio is filled with awesome songs. (At least, my wondrous Air 1 is...) I hope my posting songs isn't getting too annoying, but I can't pass this one up.

The Voice of Truth
Casting Crowns

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of faith it takes
To climb out of this boat I'm in
Onto the crashing waves

To step out of my comfort zone
Into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is
And He's holding out His hand

But the waves are calling out my name
And they laugh at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The waves they keep on telling me
Time and time again. 'Boy, you'll never win!'
'You'll never win!'

Chorus:
But the voice of truth tells me a different story
The voice of truth says, 'Do not be afraid!'
The voice of truth says, 'This is for My glory'
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

Oh what I would do to have
The kind of strength it takes to stand before a giant
With just a sling and a stone
Surrounded by the sound of a thousand warriors
Shaking in their armor
Wishing they'd have had the strength to stand

But the giant's calling out my name
And he laughs at me
Reminding me of all the times
I've tried before and failed
The giant keeps on telling me
Time and time again. 'Boy you'll never win!'
'You'll never win!'

But the stone was just the right size
To put the giant on the ground
And the waves they don't seem so high
From on top of them lookin' down
I will soar with the wings of eagles
When I stop and listen to the sound of Jesus
Singing over me

I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth

So what have I been doing? Well...Tuesday I went to see Star Wars with Kasey Kay and her sister. That was a dark movie...as I was warned by my brother. Anakin was so filled with hate, it kind of scared me, because I had no clue what to expect from him next. And by trying to protect Padme, he ended up hurting her terribly. That's sad. The babies were cute, though. LOL. Wednesday I babysat Sydney. That was kind of fun. We went for a really long walk (almost an hour), and then we just kind of "hung out" at her house. I played with her more this time, which is probably why she didn't cry as much. (LOL.) Whenever I got up to do something, she'd start bawling. Poor thing. Sometimes I just had to let her sit there and cry, though. Like when I was fixing her lunch. LOL. Let's see, now we're up to Thursday - yesterday. I visited a college. One of my friends works there, so after the tour of the campus and talking to a counselor, Mom and I went and found her, and talked with her for a while. Then later in the day Mom and I had our eyes examined. I'm getting glasses. Not for everyday use, though. My only trouble is with distance. So I'll wear them while I'm driving (it always helps to be able to see those green road signs!) and at school if I can't see the board, just stuff like that. My eyes aren't that bad; I really only notice a problem while driving places I don't know how to get to and have to read the signs...I can't read them until I'm basically right up on them - not good. LOL.

Oh, and an update on our vacation - we've moved our departure up one day. So instead of leaving Monday July 18, we're leaving Sunday July 17th, right after morning church.

I think that's all.
Ask me questions! I love answering questions. :-D
